Because of the small sample size (5 subjects), the results of this study may not be generalisable. Maximum strength (bench press 1-RM), endurance (reps with 70% of 1-RM), endurance work output (reps x lb) and testosterone (mg/dL) values were compared with acute baseline measurements taken at the start of the study after subjects took a placebo. Individual results may vary.
